  1. I don't get it. The Media industries are stuck in the past, with their older ways and deep pockets. Yet the new generation are pushing the boundaries with new ways of thinking. Hopefully as the younger set are placed into the governments, they would be able to listen to reason, and bring utopia to the web. All we have to do is wait.
  2. How on earth does fair use get sideswiped? I mean they may have used the Udemy logo, but the fact that they DMCA'ed it because of that, indicates there's something seriously wrong here. Is there such a thing as fair use anymore? Or is there an ulterior motive to all this?
  3. Unbelievable. The rich are trying to use the Government to get richer. Times are changing, and so is how people make and consume media. Let us hope that for all our sakes, the politicians are smart enough to embrace the wave of change that has encircled our society.
  4. At least that's a good Christmas Present for those who want to get whatever they want from here. Well worth participating. And the fact that they have no time limit adds to the benefit of this contribution. Superb!
  5. Well worth joining, given the wealth of items available here. It may be a little difficult with maintaining a ratio, but with a little control, it will work out for whoever goes on here. It's a shame that they don't offer admissions to this tracker anymore. But easy come, easy go.
  6. Look, I know that there's been a bit of bitterness towards this site's reboot, but give it some time, and it ought to return to its former glory eventually. I'm a glass-half-full person, and believe there is hope for all things.
  7. I agree with that. It has a wide variety to gather from, both disc and ripped forms, and it enables you to maintain a good ratio with their freeleech system. Well worth joining for the wealth of titles available.
  8. That's pretty well beefy specs for a visual feast. But I'll stick with the lower end settings, due to the fact that I'm more of a casual gamer at heart. And if all else fails, I'll probably get it for console, once the bugs are removed.
  9. Why be conflicted? Both the new Xbox and Playstation are essentially similar in specs. They're both suped-up PCs with a focus on gameplay. Either one would be fine. They just happen to succeed in their respective home countries.
  10. Such is the way of progress. The old system has collapsed, and the new owners are demonstrating greater control over their properties. I await their results, and they will be good.
  11. Here's an interesting notion. Pick a word, any word. Then write down the letters of the word in numbers. The Code is basically each forward letter, is the number backwards. For example, A = 26, B = 25, C = 24, and so on. Remember to place the decoded word from the previous entry before you put in your coded word! I'll start... 22-15-22-14-22-13-7
  12. I myself am a huge fan of advanced board games, and I think the approach they're taking with Monster Hunter is going to be worth it. I await their release to see if it is worth the fees.
  13. Well, good performance requires good hardware. It's a chicken and egg philosophy. If you want to play the game to its full potential, then you need the best components to do so. It's common sense.
  14. The date came and went. And still no sign of Metroid Prime 4. Looks like we'll have to wait a little longer for it to come. But it will be worth the wait if Retro Studios are behind it.
  15. What we need is a streaming service for classic games. They'd be easier to deliver, and less taxing of resources. If a Netflix style formula could applied, it could work towards its benefit.
  16. I'm a huge fan of the open world Sandbox vibe. I mean why complain if SimCity had no story? It's the fun and havoc you can create with your own society that matters, and that suits me fine.
  17. It could be useful for rendering video and animation. I take pride into the work I do into video editing and CGI generation. It may be for games, but that does not mean it can work for other things.
  18. Both systems use similar specs. But that's a given due to the fact they are built on PC technology. Why else would we have such successful backwards compatibility with this generation of consoles?
  19. At least this would improve the Stranger Danger aspect of online communications. I don't want to end up becoming involved towards things I'd rather avoid. Steam is doing a good job of cleaning out unwanted aspects.
  20. At least I'm glad they're still supporting the older game, and their peripherals. Now if only they'd do the same for Steel Battalion, and its monster of a controller. I mean, if we could get a Xbox to USB adaptor, it could work.
  21. It seems like a good experiment, but I'll stick with the virtual tracks over the real ones. At least I can use them anywhere I want at any time. And I don't have to worry about space issues.
  22. It's obvious why Microsoft would accomplish this type of goal. So they can provide a catalogue of AAA material for their service. Why else would they buy Bethesda?
  23. Basically, I am a bargain hunter. I go for the cheap options and wear them on my sleeve. And sometimes, I luck on. For example I once got myself a second hand copy of Assassin's Creed: The Rebel Collection for the Switch. When we checked out its contents, it also had a copy of Skyrim for the Switch inside. And yet I still was able to get it for no extra charge. Talk about lucky! So I wonder, have any of you had any good luck with such finds? Feel free to reply about your lucky days.
  24. I knew that the PS5 would live up to the hype. Yet the lackluster amount of storage space could be a hindrance to those on a budget. At least they left it open for external storage. Thank goodness for USB!
  25. I'm a fan of the Playstation lineage. But I'll wait until it's further perfected, and possibly find one second hand. All I need is patience.
