  1. As tradition dictates, this month is packed with tender love stories like The Photograph and adorable meet-cutes such as To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. Sure, falling in love is a beautiful part of life filmmakers love to capture… but so it falling out of it. In Birds of Prey, Harley Quinn is navigating her “emancipation” from Jared Leto’s Joker in an action-packed and hilarious ballet of a breakup film unlike any other. It reminds us that sometimes watching a movie character like Harley blow up a chemical plant is just the catharsis we need in a big Hollywood world full of adorable love stories and mushy dialogue. How do you pick up the pieces of a broken heart? These movie characters have some ideas for you should you find yourself in such a situation this Valentine's Day. Most of these are straight-up horrible ideas that you should definitely not do, but watching them play out is fun!
  2. Coming off from the critically-acclaimed success of Booksmart , Olivia Wilde has officially set her next directing project in the form of a new biographical drama film titled Perfect which revolves around iconic gymnast Kerri Strug’s triumphant victory at the 1996 Olympics. The film will be penned by Ronnie Sandahl, who is no stranger to the sports drama genre as his most recent writing credits was the 2017 biopic Borg vs. McEnroe which starred Shia LaBeouf. “This is a film about what real power looks like,” Wilde said in a statement (via Deadline). “It is an excruciatingly beautiful underdog story that will thrust the audience into the heart of Kerri Strug with unblinking, raw honesty. It is an epic sports movie that will deliver on all the wish-fulfilment that makes those films so thrilling to watch. At the same time, it is unlike any sports movie you have seen before.” Based on Strug and John P. Lopez’s book Landing On My Feet, A Diary Of Dreams, the film will tell the true story of Kerri Strug’s inspiring Olympic journey. In 1996, she was part of the U.S. women’s gymnastic team who was famously referred to as the Magnificent Seven. During the final rotation against the Russian team, Strug bravely completed the final vault despite having a badly injured ankle due to a bad fall from her first attempt. Because of her perseverance and determination, Strug had earned Team USA’s first gold medal and was hailed as a National Sports hero. Pick up a copy of the book here! Perfect will be executive produced by Wilde, Deepak Nayer, Marisa Clifford and Sandahl with Riverstone Pictures’ Nik Bower and Pulse Films’ Thomas Benski serving as producer. Jeremy Baxter and Moss Barclay will also produce the film while FilmNation will handle the international sales. Interestingly enough, Wilde most recently starred in Clint Eastwood’s biopic drama Richard Jewell which told the story of a security guard who saved thousands of lives from an exploding bomb at the 1996 Olympics. Wilde is also set to direct and star in New Line Cinema’s period thriller film Don’t Worry Darling . Source : Comingsoon
  3. Following Insatiable ‘s second season premiere in October, TVLine reports that Netflix has officially decided not to give Lauren Gussis’ teen revenge-comedy series a third season renewal. Starring former Disney star Debby Ryan, the first season was met with controversy when viewers accused it of fat shaming its lead character which led to the creation of an online petition for its cancellation. However, despite the petition gaining over 200,000 signatures, Insatiable was still given a second season renewal by Netflix. Last season, we found Patty dealing with, well, a lot. Her past was haunting her, and her struggle to be “good” was becoming harder and harder each day as she battled her inner demons. And Bob – well – he was helping her cover up Christian’s murder, but just how far would his loyalties go? Would he continue to allow his romantic relationships, his career ambitions, and his integrity take a beating, just to help Patty pursue her pageant dreams? And when beauty queens started going missing, who was to blame? Patty’s rage? Or was there more at play? From writer Lauren Gussis ( Dexter , Once Upon a Time ), Ryan Seacrest Productions and Storied Media Group, Insatiable is a dark, twisted “coming of rage” story starring Debby Ryan, Dallas Roberts, and Alyssa Milano. For years, Patty (Ryan) has been bullied, ignored, and underestimated by those around her because of her weight. But now that she finds herself suddenly thin, Patty is out for payback against anyone who has ever made her feel bad about herself. Insatiable starred Debby Ryan ( Jessie ), Dallas Roberts ( Dallas Buyers Club ), Alyssa Milano ( Mistresses ), Christopher Gorman ( 2 Broke Girls ), Erinn Westbrook ( In a World ), Michael Provost ( Elbow Grease ), Kimmy Shields ( Girlboss ), Irene Choi ( The Perfect Guy ), and Sarah Colonna ( Has Anyone Seen My Pants? ). The series was created by Lauren Gussis ( Dexter ) for Netflix. Gussis was an executive producer alongside Ryan Seacrest (American Idol ) , Nina Wass ( Shades of Blue ), Andrea Shay ( Benched ), Todd Hoffman ( The Confirmation ), Dennis Kim ( APB ), and Andy Fleming ( Barefoot ). Both seasons are available for streaming on Netflix.

Chris, Sarah, Mark, Lena and the other amazing actors and actresses have given performances so powerful and real in a show that features a talking giant green tiger. Hamill is set to take over the role of Skeletor while original actor Oppenheimer will voice Moss Man, with Headey voicing Skeletor’s right-hand woman Evil-Lyn, Wood voicing Prince Adam/He-Man and Gellar and Cunningham voicing He-Man’s compatriots Teela and Man-at-Arms. The series hails from Mattel TV, with Susan Corbin set to produce while Smith is executive producing alongside Adam Bonnett ( Descendants ), Christopher Keenan ( Batman Beyond ) and Rob David ( He-Man and the Masters of the Universe ), with Powerhouse Animation ( Castlevania ) animating the series. Here’s the official synopsis from Netflix: “A radical return to Eternia, Revelation is a direct sequel series to the classic era of Masters of the Universe. Featuring fan-favorites He-Man, Orko, Cringer and Man-At-Arms, the story pits our heroic warriors and guardians of Castle Grayskull against Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, Beast Man and the vile legions of snake mountain! But after a ferocious final battle forever fractures Eternia, it’s up to Teela to solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to prevent the end of the Universe! Her journey will uncover the secrets of Grayskull at last.
