  2. Nvidia is pushing the Real-Time Ray Tracing for video games some of the game developers have confirmed it for their games. However, the Real-Time Ray Tracing might also drop for the upcoming The Division 2, Anthem and more titles. A rumor has been making rounds on the internet suggesting that Nvidia is ready to push Real-Time Ray Tracing for upcoming games such as The Division 2, Anthem and more. It wouldn’t be surprising for the Real Time Ray Tracing to come to games since Nvidia is known for introducing new graphical/visuals features with the help of its GameWorks platform. However, The Division 2 and Anthem are not the only games that might feature the Real-Time Ray Tracing as the upcoming Battlefield V and Shadow Of The Tomb Raider might also support Real-Time Ray Tracing. Given that Nvidia has partnered up for the PC versions of the Battlefield V and Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, it is highly likely that these games will support Real-Time Ray Tracing. However, the Real-Time Ray tracing will only be supported by the next-gen Nvidia GPUs namely the Nvidia RTX 2080, RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2070. Also, the mid-range and low-end GPUs will not support Ray Tracing since it is resource heavy process and these GPUs won’t be able to handle it. However, Metro Exodus is the game which is confirmed to use the Real Time Ray Tracing and will be taking full advantage of this new rendering technique from Nvidia. Speaking of the Real-Time Ray Tracing, Nvidia will be announcing Nvidia RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti at pre-Gamescom 2018 event. Not only that, the pre-orders for these GPUs will reportedly start right after they will be announced by Nvidia. Speaking of the upcoming Nvidia GPUs, codenames has leaked online for these Nvidia GPUs which also hint at die shrunk versions coming next year. According to the leak, the Nvidia RTX 2080Ti is codenamed TU102-300A by Nvidia while the Nvidia RTX 2080 has been codenamed TU104-400A. Not only that, PNY listed these GPUs on its official website a couple of days ago confirming specs and pre-order pricing of these GPUs. What do you think of Real-Time Ray Tracing support for video games? Will it change the way games are developed or designed? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
  3. If anyone has any doubts about Red Dead Redemption 2 then you certainly need to check this news out. Very recently it was announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 Map Size will be bigger, than any Rockstar Games. Yes, that even means, GTA 5, as well as all other Rockstar Games. In a newly surfaced video of PlayStation Access channel, it was revealed that this western title will have the biggest map ever, compared to every Rockstar Games titles. Now how is it even bigger than GTA 5, there is a logic behind it, you see being able to cross the area on either foot or horseback, will add more to the actual size as well as to the time of this game. So that is why players will find Red Dead Redemption 2 Map Size to be immense. So will all the recent detail revealed, what we can assume is that the devs are very much targeted at making this game, as amazing as possible. However, one of the biggest issue this game can face is upon its release. As you may already know that this game is scheduled to roll out, on October 26, 2018. While in the same month we have Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 as well as Battlefield V also releasing. So the impact on the sales of these games on each other is pretty much uncertain because we have had, various analyst reposts suggesting various projections for all of these three games. Now while NPD’s Mat Pistacella predicted that Red Dead Redemption 2 will surpass Black Ops 4 and Battlefield V, we have other Piper Jaffray’s analysts Michael J. Olson and Yung Kim claim that Black Ops 4 to outsell both of these games. So at this point, it is pretty uncertain but Red Dead Redemption 2 Map Size news, is something that may captivate more fans, perhaps. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.
  4. Bethesda made quite a splash when it announced that the upcoming Fallout 76 won’t be releasing on Steam and will be exclusive to its Bethesda.net platform. However, that is not the only Bethesda game that will be skipping Steam as Doom Eternal coming to Valve’s digital PC platform is unlikely. Speaking with IGN, Bethesda’s Pete Hines talked about the company’s plans to release its games exclusively to Bethesda.Net. However, he noted that Bethesda didn’t explicitly said that it will be releasing all of its games through Bethesda.net. He added that just because Fallout 76 is not coming to Steam doesn’t mean the rest of the Bethesda titles including Doom Eternal will not be coming to Steam. However, Hines was asked specifically about Doom Eternal coming to Steam to which he noted that Bethesda hasn’t decided yet if Doom Eternal will be coming to Steam or not. If Bethesda decided to not release Doom Eternal to Steam will be surprising since all of the released Doom titles are available on Steam. Making Fallout 76 exclusive to Bathesda.net is somewhat understandable since its an online multiplayer game. We already have a lot of PC clients from many developers which we have to install in order to play games like Ubisoft’s Uplay, Blizzard’s Batttle.net, EA’s Origin and Epic Games’ Epic Launcher. Requiring a different PC client for every other game is quite messy since PC users will not only have to manage these PC clients but also have to remember their log-in credentials. Speaking of the game, Bethesda has also hinted mod support for Doom Eternal. However, the studio noted that it won’t be available right away at launch. According to game director Director Marty Stratton, the studio made some technical decisions with the game engine that focused on other stuff than mods and have been trying to correct it for past several years in order to bring Doom Eternal mod support. Furthermore, Bethesda has also explained why Doom Eternal isn’t called Doom 2. According to Stratton, the reason behind it the game being Doom Eternal is Doom 2016 as the problem stems from there saying “You hear us say it all the time, we call it Doom 2016, and the internet has called it Doom 2016”. What do you think of Doom Eternal possibly skipping Steam and being a Bethesda.net exclusive title? What are your thoughts on developers releasing their own PC client for their PC games? 5. Following a series of teasers and leaks, Blizzard has finally made it official that Diablo 3 is being prepared for a release on the Switch. In an announcement last week, the developer confirmed that the full package will feature both the Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer expansion packs. In addition, the port will be updated to the latest version on the existing platforms. This means that all balance changes and add-on bundles will be there on the Switch from day one. Those interested in giving the new release a go, here are the new features expected from the hack-and-slash installment. Exclusive cosmetic goodies Nintendo is known to add a little extra flavor for its loyal player-base and Diablo 3 for the Switch will be treated similarly by the Japanese company. The upcoming port will feature a few exclusive cosmetic items that are all going to be based on the iconic Legend of Zelda franchise. This includes a “transmogrification” armor set modeled after the main antagonist Ganondorf, a cucco chicken pet from the Hyrule villages, a portrait frame themed around the divine Triforce artifact, and a set of beautiful wings inspired by Majora’s Mask for your characters to wear. Dive straight into the Adventure mode Blizzard has decided to remove any and all content restrictions from Diablo 3 for the upcoming Switch release. The installment has always demanded the single-player campaign to be completed before granting access to the Adventure mode, which was introduced with the Reaper of Souls expansion pack as replayable endgame content to earn bounties and Nephalem Rifts. However, the Switch version will allow players to bypass the storyline and jump straight in the Adventure mode from the outset. The developer expects many seasoned Diablo 3 players to try out the new handheld version and being able to skip the single-player campaign will undoubtedly make their lives easier. It is just not the Adventure mode. Everything will be unlocked from the very start such as classes, themed seasons, and such. Transferring saves for local play In typical Nintendo fashion, Diablo 3 will allow players to load their own profiles from one Switch console in another to play locally with friends. This feature is not new to the installment because the same can be done through Battle.net between last and current-generation consoles as well cross-platforms. However, cloud transfers on the Switch will open up new gameplay experiences by running dungeons with friends on the go. For the time being, players can forget about transferring their seasoned profiles from the PC or existing console versions through the cloud. The cross-play question Diablo 3 will not feature any cross-platform functionality when it releases on the Switch, at least not at the start. Speaking with Eurogamer in a recent interview, senior producer Pete Stilwell left the door wide open for the much-sought feature. It is something that the developer is interested in pursuing but does not currently consider a priority. I wouldn’t ever take anything off the table, it’s something we’re exploring, that we’re interested in. But it is not currently a feature. Sony has always taken a stance against bridging any platform other than PC with PlayStation 4. Microsoft has, however, been fairly open to the idea. If cross-play does become a reality for Diablo 3 on the Switch, it is likely to be so without the involvement of the PlayStation 4. Diablo 3 is scheduled to release later this year for the Switch. The installment is already available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
  6. Forza Horizon 2 undoubtedly won a lot of fans’ hearts and was responsible for true recognition of the series. Unfortunately, its time seems to have come to an end as the developer of the game, Turn 10 recently confirmed that this game has almost reached its “end of life.” So, the game has been put on sale for the month of August, following August those who have availed the chance to get the game, will have the game even after it gets removed from the Xbox market. As announced by devs, following the sale starting the month of September, it will be removed from the Xbox marketplace. However, those who would have purchased the copy will have the opportunity, to download it until 1st October. A heads up for the Forza community: Forza Horizon 2 will reach ‘end of life’ status on September 30. That means that the game and its associated DLC will no longer be available for purchase. Brian Ekberg of Turn 10 said. So for those who have not had the chance to play this game, now is perhaps the only chance you will have to play this game and with a DLC. So if you purchase this game while it is on sale, you will be playing something that has almost transitioned in becoming obsolete. Apart from the game-ending its lifespan, licensing may also have a part to play in it getting removed. Still, all good things must come to an end and so shall this. With all that said, Forza Horizon 2 has had an amazing run, with the amazing open world, this game has given young players, a taste of the rush. Talking about this title, we have Forza Horizon 4 in the works and there is a lot of anticipation about it as well. Forza Horizon is one of the most amazing and long lasting racing series out there. Be that as it may, are you going to check out Forza Horizon 2 before it is removed? Let us know in the comments below.
  7. PC enthusiasts love to push the performance of their systems by the means of overclocking them and using liquid cooling as a means to keep its temperatures under control. However, there are coolants in the market for this specific purpose but one Youtuber built a Vodka-Cooled PC and it works surprisingly well. The Youtuber in question is “Life of Boris” who built the Vodka-Cooled PC. While this is out of the ordinary but the Vodka-Cooled PC works surprisingly well and Vodka as the coolant also works a little better compared to the actual coolant solutions for PCs in the market. As you can see in the video below the YouTuber also tested the Vodka-Cooled PC by playing games on the system. Turns out the CPU temperatures were mostly in the 40s while it barely reached 50-degree centigrade. I am personally surprised by the fact that how well this Vodka-Cooled PC works. Also, I am not sure if using alcohol to cool your PC is a safe thing to do. This also makes us wonder why the manufacturers of coolant solutions didn’t think of that earlier. Speaking of the PC hardware, Intel is also looking for a better way to cool its high-end CPUs and for that purpose, Intel will be soldering the heatspreader for its 9th-gen Coffee Lake refreshes. The soldered heat spreader will allow for Intel Coffee Lake refreshes to better manage the temperatures at higher clock speeds which means that the upcoming CPUs will feature higher clock speeds with better cooling. Speaking of Intel, ARM has openly challenged Intel to take the mobile CPU market. ARM has revealed its CPU roadmap that will be directly competing with Intel Core i5-U series CPUs starting with ARM Cortex-A76 which promises 35% performance increase compared to previous-gen mobile CPUs. For 2019, the ARM CPU we will be seeing launched is “Deimos” core while 2020 will see the launch of “Hercules” core. Also, Nvidia will be announcing the Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti and the RTX 2080 at its pre-Gamescom 2018 event. However, before that happens, leaks and rumors have already flooded the internet. One leak that is making rounds on the internet is the codenames for the RTX 2080 Ti And RTX 2080 along with the possible die shrunk versions of these GPUs coming next year. Not only that, PNY listed these GPUs on its official website a couple of days ago confirming specs and pre-order pricing of these GPUs. What do you think of the Vodka-Cooled PC? Let us know in the comments below.
  8. Next-gen Nvidia gaming GPUs reveal will be happening today at Nvidia’s pre-Gamescom 2018 event. However, before that happens code names for the upcoming Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti and Nvidia RTX 2080 have been leaked along with the possible indication for die shrunk versions of these GPUs. The leak comes from Videocardz who took it to their Twitter account and revealed the codenames for the upcoming Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti and Nvidia RTX 2080 GPUs. According to the leak, the Nvidia RTX 2080Ti is codenamed TU102-300A by Nvidia while the Nvidia RTX 2080 has been codenamed TU104-400A. As noted by the Reddit user “dylan522p”, the reason for Nvidia to skip the TU100 series for its Turing GPUs is that it can’t really push FP64 performance higher compared to what Volta architecture has already achieved. At the Quadro announcement, they only quoted GigaRays FP32, FP16, Int8, and Int4 performance for the 750mm2 monster GPU that is rumored for the 2080 Ti Not only that, he further noted that Nvidia using the suffix “A” in the codename indicates that a lesser version of these GPUs with a shrunk die will launch a year after their initial release namely the GTX 280 and GTX 285 which will probably be codenamed as follows. GTX 280: GT200-300-A2 GTX 285: GT200-350-B3 However, it is important to note that none of it is official so take it with a grain of salt. However, we won’t have to wait much longer as Nvidia will be revealing these GPUs along with their price and specs today at its pre-Gamescom 2018 show. Speaking of the upcoming Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti and Nvidia RTX 2080, PNY listed these GPUs on its official website a couple of days ago confirming specs and pre-order pricing of these GPUs. According to the listing, PNY is offering the pre-orders for PNY Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti for $1000 and RTX 2080 for $800. Furthermore, another Nvidia GPU leak is making rounds on the internet. This particular leak is the PCB of RTX 2080. The leaked images for the Nvidia RTX 2080 PCB don’t reveal much but it does confirm that the GPU will come equipped with eight GDDR6 memory modules (1 GB each) which will make a total of 8 GB of GDDR6 memory for the GPU. Also, the pre-orders will start today for Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 if the rumor is to be believed. This is according to an online retailer who claims that it has heard from the official channels that Nvidia RTX 2080 pre-orders will start as soon as Nvidia will announce the GPUs at pre-Gamescom 2018 event today. What do you think of the leaked codenames for the upcoming GPUs? Let us know your thoughts in the comments. Source: Twitter, Reddit
  9. It might not be hard to see that while PlayStation 4 has entered the final stage of its lifespan, Sony is cashing in on every aspect of this amazing console before the next gen rolls out. At this very moment, PlayStation 4 Pro Special Edition pre-orders have been completely sold out. If you are an interested party, then you would already know that the Pre-orders started on 15th August 10 am Wednesday and right in the first wave all of the stock was out in minutes. However, for those interested, further stock is also expected, so stay sharp. Now it is pretty remarkable for a console that seems to have entered the final stage of its lifespan. Before Sony announced the next-gen console and PS4 entering its final stage, we had ex-PlayStation Boss Andrew House, highlight the fact that PS4 still has a lot of potential and life left. So apparently now it seems to reason to the fact that perhaps he was correct, in fact accurate, if modestly said. Even knowing that we can expect the next-gen PlayStation sometime around 2020, it seems to be that the sales and excitement for this leading console, have only increased. The best part is that the company is aware of it and they already are cashing it in. Like even the PS4 controller sales seem to have skyrocketed. In fact, have you seen the new PS4 Model CUH-2200 which the Sony has recently introduced? Well if that is not Sony marketing its product then what is, right? With all that said, we certainly can not deny that this PlayStation 4 Pro Special Edition version, actually is amazing. a translucent blue case alongside 4 matching DualShock controllers, all the while bringing in a 2TB space is something that a fan can not pass by. With all that said, What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.
  10. Coca-Cola is joining up with the publishers of Shadow of the Tomb Raider to bring a special campaign to the fans. 11. While the fans are still mulling over Assassin’s Creed Origins, they help but wonder what’s new in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. That is why we find them digging in on, every ounce of information that surfaces regarding this game, luckily Ubisoft has released the third episode of “behind the Odyssey”, in which they have shed light on the navel exploration of the game. What will the navel exploration in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey be like? How will it play out? The experience and so much more. James Carnahan the technical lead said, as the name of the game suggests, the devs are modeling themselves on the voyage of Odysseus, which includes exploration of the Aegean sea. When the devs said that they are redesigning the naval combat we had our doubts, however, now it appears to be that they really are working on it from the ground up. According to Carnahan, the timing of the setting may not be historically accurate but they are trying to give the players, the same experience and for that reason, navel exploration is an important aspect. Map of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is huge, the sea is seamless and in order to make it seem seamless, they had to work on the smaller details in the background as well as on ones in the front. Like the waves on the shorelines or the huge waves in the open seas have a huge difference. Other details include various kinds of fishes when you go underwater, as well as the environment that surrounds you as you move. Then we have the game designer Charles Benoit talk about the naval combat of the game. According to him, the naval combat in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is very engaging, fast-paced, more close ranged and more intense than ever before. As Benoit reads, mobility has a key role to play and that is why the ships, are now fast-paced. That said, players can expect some unique encounters with the sharks as well as happily expect, some unique ships roaming around in the open seas. Then we had the game director Scott Phillips, talk about upgrading the sips. Upgrading the arrows, the javelins, raming damage or how many lieutenants one can have on his ship, will really determine your capability. Talking about lieutenants, you can recruit lieutenants from the world. Be them an individual weak archer or the best mercenary, you can find. Adding them will give your ship better armor, more weapons and better perks to your ship. Last but not the least, the sea shanties are there but the best ones, you will discover when you progress in the game. It seems to be that Ubisoft is preparing this game with a right intention, however, there still are a few reservations. Some are still of the opinion that this game, is pretty much a ripoff based on all of its previous ancestors. To be honest, whenever you roll out a sequel on a yearly basis that is bound to happen. What are your thoughts about Assassin’s Creed Odyssey navel combat? Let us know in the comments below.
  12. As we are getting closer to August 20th, leaks and rumors have become almost impossible to stop. This time around, one of Nvidia’s AIB partners, PNY, listed the upcoming PNY Nvidia RTX 2080 And RTX 2080 Ti on its website with pre-order details and specifications. While the listings for the Nvidia RTX 2080 And RTX 2080 Ti have been taken down by PNY but Reddit and Twitter users managed to screenshot the listings that reveal Nvidia RTX 2080 And RTX 2080 Ti pre-order details and specs. 13. The developers for the PlayStation 4 video game Until Dawn, Supermassive Games, have included a new trademarked logo to their collection. A new logo has surfaced on the internet which shows the words “Shattered State” and it has been trademarked by Supermassive Games. A ResetEra user implies that “Shattered State” could turn out to be the next big project by the British game development company. The video game is being reported as a political thriller by Supermassive Games. The design and logo coincide with this idea. Supermassive Games have established in the past that Until Dawn 2 would clearly not be their next project. The studio has not even had plans for any PS4 patch of Until Dawn. Reddit users have also been actively chatting the trademark news over the internet. The trademark filing by the company indeed includes the graphic logo of “Shattered State. Supermassive Games have had such anticipation last time when Until Dawn came out. Until Dawn saw the success that was meant for it. The horror adventure game was launched in 2015. Shattered State would surely look up to Until Dawn to be mindful of any bumps along the way of the game development. Along with the achievements in Until Dawn, the development studio has since then explored the VR gaming platform. The Inpatient was their last VR game and a prequel to Until Dawn. The latest VR game to be released by Supermassive Games is going to be Bravo Team perhaps. Although there are some people think that Bravo Team is actually a step backward in the VR gaming genre.
  14. The Order 1886 is one of the very first PlayStation 4 exclusives and while it wasn’t perfect, we all felt that it laid the foundation of something much bigger. However, too much focus on laying the foundation and creating a long-lasting IP damaged The Order 1886, according to Game Director at Ready at Dawn, Ru Weerasuriya. When asked about the shortcomings of The Order 1886, Ru revealed how they treated this as an IP rather than an individual game. As a result, they added fewer mechanics while planning to expand every aspect with a sequel. I think the shortcomings come from so much concentration on building an IP at the very beginning. We were so dead-set on making sure this IP had a foundation — a big foundation — that stories could be told so many different ways. At one point, the IP and the story was driving a lot of the work that we were trying to do. It’s kind of natural when you start a very new game. You’ve seen that with new IPs in the past — we’re not the first ones. There have been many IPs in the past that were firsts, and if you look [at] the level of the gameplay and complexity, often times it’s much smaller than [it might be in] a sequel. You need to set up the IP, you don’t have time to do everything, so you rely on fewer mechanics. And then the sequel really brings you to the point where you’re like, ‘Alright, we’ll expand everything.’ Unfortunately, even after so much focus on creating an IP, The Order never received another installment. It limited itself to a niche audience as major parts of the community criticised the game for its lack of gameplay mechanics. The studio is currently working on a new IP so no plans for The Order 1886 sequel any time soon. But there is a big future for The Order 1886, according to Ready at Dawn. Source: Polygon
  15. Developers have been keenly noting the interruption caused in the launch of some games referred to Valve for publication on Steam. Valve back then realized that games were facing issues of delay after the company was involved in working to broaden the Steam platform. Currently, one more developer has reported the issue of these “Steam freezes.” A game got jammed in the approval process and a representative from the company said that the withholding of the game might take months: We’re right in the middle of building some features into Steam for customers to be able to choose the type of products they see in the store. Your game has content in it that needs these features to be completed and shipped first. You’ll have to do some additional store page workaround describing the content in your game once we have completed those features. We don’t have an exact timeline for those features though, so please be patient as we complete the work. Valve Steam is certainly being improved and broaden to offer a better experience to the publishers/developers. However, they are still unable to provide a specific time during which the transition process will be complete. Even a blog post got shared by Steam to address the withholding of games. The blog clears the stance of Steam on the issue: Those choices should be yours to make, Our role should be to provide systems and tools to support your efforts to make these choices for yourself, and to help you do it in a way that makes you feel comfortable. Steam has also annoyed users with forced notifications. Check out why fallout 76 snubbed the platform too. Source: Gamasutra
  16. While Monster Hunter World is getting praised over its PC port, issues have been spotted regarding its performance on the platform and the use of hardware resources, like CPU. According to a modder, 25% of the CPU activity in Monster Hunter World is used for switching from one thread to another, with more than 100 threads available. During a discussion over the performance of Monster Hunter World on PC, modder Kaldaien has revealed that 25% of all CPU activity in Monster Hunter World is the kernel stopping one thread so that another one can run. To top that, the game includes more than 100 threads in total, making it “an insane piece of software” according to him. He stated: I’ve dropped the number of cores report to the game down to 5 though. Even with this reduction, 25% of all CPU time is spent switching active threads because the game has over 100 threads. It’s the most insane piece of software I’ve ever looked at. That is not a joke. I have done performance profiling, and 25% of all CPU activity is the kernel stopping one thread so that another one can run. The overhead is enormous. Capcom has revealed some information on how Monster Hunter World will be using resources on PC, pointing out that during gameplay, it will load the entire level in memory. The PC port of the game is far from perfect, with issues popping up for players, however, there’s no question as to how such a huge game manages to play smoothly on PC. Here’s their original statement, as revealed through ResetEra and reported by DSOGaming: “To eliminate interstitial loading during active gameplay, MHW loads the entire level into memory. In addition to managing assets loaded into memory, it keeps track of monster interactions, health status, environment/object changes, manages LOD & object culling, calculates collision detection and physics simulation, and tons of other background telemetry stuff that you don’t see yet requires CPU cycle. This is in addition to supporting any GPU rendering tasks.” Truth or speculations? Issues aside, no one can deny that Monster Hunter World on PC is a sight for sore eyes. The game has managed to break the biggest new release record, with a massive amount of fans on its release.
  17. Over the past couple of months, Microsoft has made the new Xbox Avatars application available for testing on Xbox One. Recently, the same version of the application has popped up on the Windows 10 Store, giving PC gamers the access to create their own avatars ahead of its October release. In order to take part in the Xbox Avatars testing on Windows 10, you have to be in the Microsoft Xbox Insider program. If you’re not, you still get to download the application on your PC, however, you’ll be encountered with an “Under Construction” message as soon as you launch it. The use of Xbox Avatars on PC is still foggy. Players on Xbox consoles can create their own, giving them a personal taste to distinguish themselves from the rest. PC users can’t use them to a bigger extent, however, it will be a good change seeing a friendly buddy on our profile. Here are the Xbox Avatars App System Requirements for PC: Minimum: OS Windows 10 version 10240.0 or higher Architecture x64, x86 Graphics 720×720 minimum resolution Recommended: OS Windows 10 version 10240.0 or higher Architecture x64, x86 Graphics Not specified The new downloadable Xbox Avatar Editor for Windows 10 lets you customize body, face, hair, and other options. Additionally, Microsoft is planning to add accessories, props, moods, clothing, and appearance categories in the future. All the customizations include color pickers to personalize things further. The Xbox Avatars also look better than ever, now mimicking a classic cartoon character other than a caricature of such. The Xbox Avatars have been revealed a few months ago, with teasers popping here and there along the way. The new Avatar store includes premium items along with the newly added props and moods. These are not compatible with the older avatars, however, it was time for a change don’t you think?
  18. What is life without a little competition? Apparently in the life of sports, even if its digital ones, it’s essential. Konami boasts that its player models will be updated and more realistic than ever in PES 2019, something that FIFA 19 isn’t doing yet, even now that they are two steps ahead from its competitor. As reported by Gearnuke, a funny occurrence took place on Twitter involving the official account of PES 2019 and a football player. Jesse Lingard asked the developing team of FIFA 19 to put some extra effort on his model this year since he has the same haircut for a few years now in the game. After that, Wilfried Zaha asked the same for his own model, to which the official account of PES 2019 replied, giving him a taste of what he’ll look like in the game saying that his model will be “lit”. Noone can deny that Zaha’s model in PES 2019 is indeed looking incredible. Even if the franchise is losing ground to FIFA 19 since Konami lost the collaboration with UEFA and Champions League, the graphical fidelity of their titles is still top notch. PES 2019 is developed on the Fox engine, previously used for Metal Gear Solid V. That doesn’t only mean that the upcoming sports game will look graphically stunning but also it will be optimized for PC on low-end hardware like we’ve seen with Kojima’s game before it. Konami’s PES 2019 releases on August 28th for PC, Xbox One and PC while FIFA 19 is set to launch on September 25th by EA Sports. That gives PES a whole month of proving its worth against its direct competitor. Now that Konami doesn’t own the rights to the UEFA championship, PES 2019 must have smoother gameplay and better graphics to be able to compete with FIFA 19’s extensive set of modes like Ultimate Team. Do you think they can handle it?
  19. A mod of the SteamDB website has apparently come across an address for a Steam TV service, possibly related to Valve. Considering its web address we might be looking at the beginnings of a streaming service that would allow Steam users to be able to stream gameplay without using Twitch. Twitch has a nearly unmatched monopoly over the video game streaming industry, with thousands of streamers and millions of viewers on the site at any one time. That, along with a robust and consistent service that allows people to upgrade themselves from casual streamers to Twitch partners to full-time streamers, along with being able to keep donations and a significant portion of bits, has led to the rise of the professional video game streamer as an industry. Steam TV, though we have no idea of what it is at the moment, will have to catch up to years of nearly undisputed supremacy by Twitch in order to make its own mark on the streaming market. Even the giant closest to Twitch, YouTube, has had its YouTube gaming service be little more than a footnote, and more of a way for streamers who can’t make it on Twitch to be able to gain notoriety. While it would be an interesting and much more streamlined way to be able to stream Steam games, a Steam TV service might still find itself rather limited; players might not want to load up Steam each time that they want to watch someone stream, and much like Xbox’s Mixer app, companies who make their own streaming services just can’t match Twitch for the variety of features and utility. But either way, we’ll have to just wait and see what Steam TV actually turns out to be, whether it’s an attempt at a streaming service to match Twitch, or something else entirely.
  20. For a while now, a lot of Fortnite players have likely been keeping track of the slowly-shrinking Fortnite rifts that have been hanging in the sky. However, that shrinking, and indeed the rifts themselves, have been disabled due to the discovery of a bug that might be related to a crashing bug. The Fortnite rifts are a new mechanic that’s been added to the game recently, and allows a new mechanic of doing things like teleporting around the map by jumping into a rift, where you’ll end up someplace else. This helps you to cover large distances in an instant and to also escape the ever-shrinking storm eye. The rifts have also figured into a number of limited time game modes such as Sniper Shootout and Soaring 50. All of these other rifts have appeared after a particularly large rift appeared in the sky, and as that one shrinks it’s likely that the smaller, accessible rifts will start to disappear as well. This isn’t the first time that something has happened in Fortnite’s sky, either; before the release of Marvel’s Infinity War movie, Thanos’s Infinity Gauntlet came down like a meteor and demolished an area of the map. However, with the glitch that apparently has started with these rifts, Epic Games is currently disabling them, so it’s back to playing Fortnite like a regular person until they can discover what’s causing the issues. This particular bug comes shortly after another bug was discovered by Epic that caused the game to crash more often. There’s no telling if this bug is related to that bug. Epic Games has also not informed players of what exactly the bug is, so we don’t even have any real idea of what’s actually the problem with the game. Hopefully Epic Games will be able to fix the Fortnite rifts and people can get back to using the rifts soon.
  21. If you’re familiar with the huge number of different parallel universes in the Marvel Comics multiverse, then you might have some cause for celebration in regards to the PS4 Spider Man universe. That universe will be included in the Marvel comic canon, making it part of the many Spider-Man universes. Much like many other Marvel superheroes, there are multiple Spider-Man in multiple different universes across a whole multiverse. This was even the focus of a Spider-Man comic series, which included a wide variety of Spider-Men from other universes, including a cowboy Spider-Man (who has a horse who can also sling web and also wears a mask), a Spider-Man Speed Buggy, Spider-Ham (a spider who was bitten by a radioactive pig (yes you read that right)), and even the memetic 1960’s cartoon version of Spider-Man. It’s likely that the PS4 Spider Man universe won’t have anything too outlandish in it, but it being made a part of the Marvel comic book canon means that Insomniac Spider-Man might eventually end up joining another crossover episode, if a second one is ever made. Insomniac has already stated that the game will be getting some single-player DLC, so we might get some sort of Marvel-approved crossover bit of DLC that could team Insomniac’s own Peter Parker with a Peter Parker from another universe, whether it’s a normal Spider-Man or some other outlandish version, but we’ll have to wait and see until the DLC actually comes out. The Playstation 4 Spider Man game will still be including a large number of classic Spider-Man characters like Mr. Negative, Kingpin, the Rhino, and many more, but even though it’s had a number of different E3 appearances we still don’t know all of the different villains that are going to be appearing in the game. You can look forward to entering the PS4 Spider Man universe when Spider-Man comes out on September 7 exclusively for the Playstation 4.
  22. The time for teasers is upon us, as a very interesting and genuine Sekiro Shadows Die Twice tease has been released on the official Instagram account of the game, referred to as “sekirothegame”. This tease consists of a small clip in which we see the main character make a quick, definitive and brutal takedown from above. Alongside this small clip, a post was also made that talked about two things. One being about the kill, how you take down your enemy is incidental, however, what really matters is that you make it our own kill. Like your own unique way to take down an enemy, whether it is from above or any other way. The second thing was the reference or better yet, an invitation at Gamescom 2018. So combining that short kill clip, the kill tease and the invitation to Gamescom. One thing is certain and that is the fact that at Gamescom 2018 Sekiro Shadows Die Twice will certainly be planting some green flags. Since Gamescom 2018 event is just around the corner, it seems to be a perfect time to tease the fans to add more to the growing hype for the game. One thing can be added with certainty and that is the fact that Sekiro Shadows Die Twice will certainly not be disappointing fans because of the few reasons. One is the fact that it has been designed from “ground up”. This the devs themselves confirmed saying that this is not an evolution of the soul series in any sense, it has been designed from roots. Talking about how amazing this game could be, have you guys seen the recent gameplay? Which specifically sets focus on Stealth, Parrying and the most iconic “you died” screen. So take this as an assurance that from, what we have seen and know so far, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will certainly be an amazing game. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.
  23. The Xbox One is going to be getting a new game soon, a new highly intense game that might be more complicated than people normally believe. A Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes Xbox port has just been released to the console for you and a friend to sweat over. Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes is basically its title. You and a friend, working together, have to defuse a number of different bombs, each of which has a number of different segments that requires you to know what to do. You do this by printing out a bomb defuser’s manual (handily found at bombmanual.com), and then walking your friend through each bomb. Here, however, is where the most of the gameplay comes in. Both the person defusing the bomb and the person talking them through it have to be descriptive and accurate, know Morse code, have a variety of symbols, and more. One wrong move can do anything from prematurely trigger the bomb to speed up the clock, leaving you with an exploding bomb and a lot of sweat. The game originally came out on the PC, but soon spread out to other consoles like PS4, Android, and Linux, and only just now on the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. But it’s sure to be a fun party game, especially considering all of the different puzzles that can be put into each bomb module, which can be things like pushing buttons at the correct time, figuring out Morse code, deciphering symbols, and more. With all of the variety, hopefully the Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes Xbox port will end up being pretty successful, especially for a party game or a good team building exercise. But if you and a friend just want some good old-fashioned chaos and frustration, you can buy it on any of its platforms now.
  24. Cheif Executive Officer of Weltenbauer, Rene Nold discussed the potential elements that could be brought in Xbox Scarlett and PS5. These next generation of consoles is expected to bring in a freshly developed VR integration system along with improved performance and memory. The gaming community is anticipating to get everything and more out of PS5 and Xbox Scarlett consoles. The fanbase of consoles is having varied opinions about the elementary features of Xbox Scarlett and PS5. While some think that the core focus of next-gen consoles should be on enhancing support for 4K at 60 FPS, others have set different priorities themselves. Rene Nold shared his take on this matter with GamingBolt: “More performance, more memory, faster loading times,” Nold told GamingBolt when asked about what he would like to see in the PS5 and the next Xbox. “Maybe some exciting new operating concepts. Who knows? Maybe there is even something which can be used or adapted especially well for simulation games which are often extremely complex when it comes to vehicle controls. I also hope that VR will be on board. VR is an exciting thing for sure – also for the genre of simulation games. We are curious to see what will happen!” Nold clarified that if he sought one feature in Xbox Scarlett or PS5 it would be fresh technology to improve the simulation genre of gaming. He emphasized the need to further develop VR. Even, Square Enix’s Game Director, Hajime Tabata has started working in accordance to the transformation that is expected in the upcoming consoles. Meanwhile, check out the Xbox Scarlett details that reveal howstreaming will be done locally. In the end, AMD Ryzen and Vega powered chinse console discussed what more these next-gen consoles could offer to the gaming community that’s been waiting in mystery what the future of gaming holds.
  25. EA showed the first look of Battlefield V Battle Royale mode. We saw glimpses of things to come and one very interesting thing we noticed leads us to believe that players may not be able to play the circle. Playing the circle means sticking to the edge of the danger zone and camping your way into the safe zone. It is a tactic used by many Fortnite and PUBG players, however, it seems it won’t be too effective in Battlefield V Battle Royale mode. Instead of using gas or a killer cloud, EA DICE is using a Ring of Fire. Those who played Battlefield games would know that it doesn’t take long to be dead after being engulfed in flames. This means that those stuck outside the play zone for more than a few seconds will most likely end up dead. It would be interesting to see how campers handle this and it seems EA DICE wants to make sure Battle Royale offers a level playing field. More details about Battlefield V Battle Royale mode are yet to arrive. But as we head closer to the game’s release expect a proper beta for this new mode. Battlefield V is releasing on October 19 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Battle Royale mode is expected to be set in Rotterdam and according to EA DICE, there will be two versions of the map – one before the bombing and one after it. The trailer raised expectations for sure and many wonder why this video wasn’t the reveal trailer for Battlefield V? The reveal trailer saw widespread negative feedback and it is partly the reason why pre-order numbers are so low. According to an analyst, Black Ops 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2 could dent Battlefield’s install base this year. As a result, sales could be slower.
