Rarely do I bother in anything above 1080P unless its a real 4K. Most movies are upscaled so not worth the wait and gigs.  If I'm watching on my 46" I go sometimes for 720p even so I broadcast via Plex, but on the 65" it has to be 1080 for sure or it looks crap.

For me 720p is really good on size/quality ratio. 

If you have/want to see on big quality tv, try something above 1080 🙂

Prefer 1080p bluray, but web-dl is usually fine as well.

I m mostly watching stuff on my laptop so a 720p is pretty much enough for me. Although i tend to download a lot of 1080p It really doesnt make all that of a difference when viewed on my old gen laptop. Cheers!

4K is beautiful but streaming it via Plex is a problem...1080pis more than adequate.

1080p that's enough, but 4k need a nice Screen size or, maybe with a 60fps on a 120hz monitor

1080p strikes that good balance between bloat and image quality. Plus we still haven't adopted a higher standard yet.

720p is just fine for watching it on mobile or HD TV.
